Narrative Report Observation #1 By: Ava Chewning I did my runner observations at Guild Elementary School laid at 1018 South Water Street G entirely(a)atin, TN 37066. I was delegate to Mrs. legal injurys third grade schoolroom. Friday the 26th of October I spy from ten o measure A.M. cashbox one oclock P.M. and on Monday, October twenty-ninth from eight oclock A.M. till ten oclock A.M. I observe a total of phoebe bird hours. inwardly the classroom in that respect were a total of xv students: nine boys and six girls. The students sit down in groups of five at their desk, mixed with boys and girls. The outer skirts of the classroom walls were all kinds of varied riflestations for the students. This allowed diverse teaching and studies which really engages and captures the students circumspection and likeness. The classroom was quite a colorful, organized and clean but hitherto displayed no work of the students. One thing I detect was that the teacher did not have a desk. Instead, she sat at a half(a) circle table. This was to appear open for the students to be a nimble welcoming approach. The classroom was loaded with knowledge materials all on the walls. The computers were at the back wall; the console table was their rule book wall but held all their fun interacting control mesa games.

The wall opposite of the computers was utilize for the schedule and rules. The wall cross-sectional from the word wall/ cabinet was the dry erase board, all her shelving of fairly organized baskets for all the subjects being taught and the Elmo. The Elmo was a elegant instrument to use. Its purpose was to project whatever you had onto the board. Mrs. Pr ice didnt use the Elmo when I observed her, ! but the substitute employ it to have a whole group discussion over their practice page out of their workbooks. With that being said, they used maturation workbooks, computer games to enhance previous teachings, and different workbook pages al piddle ready to be passed out to the students.
