No matter how prosperous an Ameri stand community is, there will always be less fortunate people within the community that need a helping hand. With governments tightening their belts in the midst of a faded economy and not able to fully fund programs, who can we turn to for help with the less fortunate population? St. Vincent de Paul is an independent, faith-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit shaping dedicated to helping people who are suffering from the set up of poverty meet their basic human needs and make a better future for themselves and their family.
St. Vincent de Pauls 13 programs r severally 53,000 individuals each year, provide 220,000 meals and 54,000 emergency shelter beds at night.
Other work include food, clothing, shelter, transitional and permanent housing, unsettled day resources, employment training, adult education, emergency financial assistance, tribal chief Start, after-school, summer camp, domestic violence intervention, and more.
St. Vincent de Paul is committed to providing services in a manner that fosters hope and promotes the dignity and self-worth of each individual, as we see Gods living front man in every person.
Catholic in character, St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore is independently governed by a lay board of directors and is a crash organization from the Archdiocese of Baltimore and Catholic Charities.
