There be both causes of bug outicipants in this experiment: sellers and vendees. Once you have been willy-nilly assigned a type, you will keep that same(p) type for the entire experiment. You are paired with a profession attendant who is randomly assigned a seat in the same room. During or later the experiment, neither of you will be told who your trading partner is.
The experiment consists of three parts, separately with two maps. sooner every part the seller and buyer will gain vigor some additional instructions, which are specific for that situation part. Sellers and buyers are re-matched before every part such that no two participants will be paired more than once with each other during the experiment. Every part of the experiment, both players get € 10,- as starting capital. This is a virtual amount during the experiment, but terminate be earned (as stated under Earnings, below) cash after the experiment.
Every part of the experiment consists of two maps. At spot 1, the seller has to decide whether to invest € 4,- or not. At stage 2 the seller and buyer will negotiate how to dissever the revenue of € 10,- between them.
Stage 1 specific
The seller decides whether to filter out the investment or not. This is done by filling in the form marked Investment decision. to begin with the seller makes an decision, he/she gets additional information about which part of the experiment he/she is playing.
If the seller decides to invest, revenue of € 10,- is created for the pair that the particular seller belongs to. If no investment is made, no revenue is created and stage 2, as described below, is cancelled. The seller will get 2-3 proceedings to study the additional information and makes his/ her investment.
